4,200 first-time depositors. Four markets. Zero Google or Meta spend.
Conventional paid search and social were unavailable to this casino and sportsbook. We built acquisition around approved native, programmatic, push and publisher-direct inventory, then scaled the market-channel combinations that proved their economics.

How we made paid acquisition work
The constraint
Every market needed its own creative rules, landing pages and CPA ceiling. A viable acquisition cost in DACH could consume the margin in Nigeria.
What we did
- Ran a contained €15,000 test across four markets before scaling.
- Built local creative and landing-page review rules around the client’s compliance requirements.
- Pruned weak publishers weekly and shifted spend toward validated placements.
- Delivered a reporting stack and operating playbook to the in-house team.
What changed
Monthly media spend scaled to approximately €68,000. Placement pruning brought run-rate blended CPA from an early €81 to €64 by month five, while all active buying accounts remained live across the six-month engagement.
Brazil and Nigeria supplied roughly 60% of monthly FTD volume. DACH and the Nordics supported the blend with higher player value.
| Market | Spend / month | Media CPA | FTDs / month |
|---|---|---|---|
| DACH | €24,000 | €92 | 261 |
| Nordics | €16,000 | €104 | 154 |
| Brazil | €15,000 | €42 | 357 |
| Nigeria | €13,000 | €46 | 283 |
The €62 CPA is the cumulative six-month figure. Scale-phase monthly CPA was approximately €64. Deposit return measures gross deposits against media spend, not profit or NGR.
